It was a poetic story about a boy who had a terrible habit of not looking where he was going.
The poem was written by Dr Heinrich Hofmann who actually was a German. He printed his first illustrated children verses as a Christmas gift to his son. The book became popular in Germany and many foreign translations followed. It was also widely read in Victorian Britain.
The actors performed with great enthusiasm which made the show exciting and very funny, as was expressed by all the viewers.
Well done, fifth grade! We all look forward to seeing many other English shows!
Our thanks to:
Mrs Valeria Solovyova who took upon herself to choose a lovely music for our show and to play it personally;
Mrs Yelena Kotomina who inspired our pupils to creat the most beautiful fishes and swallows;
Prof. Alexander Dvorkin who created for us a very cozy dog’s head;
Mr Alexander Ryasnov for helping us to fix the decorations;
Mr Abramyan for printing our posters;
Mr Paul Rastatuev for video recording of the event. Read and see also.
