All Year 4and Year 5 pupils had a wonderful time taking part in a variety of funactivities designed to help pupils practice their English speaking skills andlearn more about the culture of North America.

The Year 6and Year 7 pupils participated in a history competition focusing on the history andculture of indigenouspeoples of North America. Meanwhile, the Year 10 and 11 students tookpart in a challengingAmerican History Quiz Competition that tested their knowledge of Americanhistory, politics and culture. Both competitions were judged by a panel of Englishlanguage teachers from among the members of St Peter’s teaching staff. Allmembers of the judging panel were impressed by how hard the students battled itout.

During theEnglish Week we had two visitors: Archpriest Peter Perekrestov and IreneHanlon. Irene Hanlon made an engaging presentation about American cuisine, whileFr.
